Wayne J. Paupst has over 25 years experience in the Quality Profession, holding positions such as Inspector, SPC Coordinator, Quality Systems Coordinator (QS & ISO 9000), Quality Engineer and Quality Manager. He has worked in the precision machining, metal stamping, and die casting manufacturing fields for the Telecommunications, Transportation, Aerospace, Commercial Hardware, and Food Service Industries.

Wayne is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Quality Engineer, Auditor, Manager, Technician, Inspector, Process Analyst, Calibration Technician, and Quality Improvement Associate. He is a Senior Member of ASQ, and also a member of the ASQ Lean Enterprise Division in which he is the Division Chair and former Program Chair. He also serves on the Training and Education Committee of the ASQ Quality Management Division. Wayne has completed four terms as Section Chair for the Lehigh Valley, PA Section and also has served as Education Chair since 1997.

Wayne is a course instructor for ASQ’s LV Section (since 1996), and Philadelphia Section providing training and preparation for most ASQ Certification courses. He also provides training courses in other Quality Topics such as Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO13485, ISO/TS16949) Internal Auditing, Statistical Process Control, Six Sigma (Black and Green Belts), and Lean Enterprise to name a few.

Wayne also assists organizations with Auditing services, Implementation of Quality Management Systems for registration, Supplier Auditing & Development, and many other services.

Wayne has lead and participated in many Lean and Six Sigma projects yielding excellent bottom line results such as 50% reduction in Lead Time, 40% reduction of Cost of Poor Quality, 40% reduction in Setup Time, and Productivity Improvements well over 25%.

Wayne has been a speaker at many conferences and ASQ meetings across the US and Canada.
